This journal follows Patrick Desgraupes beyond individual images—into the estates, collaborations, exhibitions and public presentations that shape his practice.
Grandeur Nature: Paris auction sale
In November 2016, Desgraupes participated in Grandeur Nature, an international exhibition and auction at Cornette de Saint Cyr in Paris, the auction house now known as Bonhams Cornette de Saint Cyr. His photograph sold during the auction. The nature-focused selection brought together works associated with leading international photographers, giving Patrick an important auction-market milestone before his contemporary turn.
The distinction matters: his work has not only been exhibited and awarded, but has also been selected, presented and acquired through a recognised Paris auction context.

Artistic collaboration: Famille Audibert
Announced in June 2026, Patrick’s collaboration with Famille Audibert continues his engagement with wine culture and the people behind it. Heritage, family identity and transformation become material for a contemporary visual language.
From Grape to Stars: Geneva
From Grape to Stars has been presented in Geneva, including at the residence of the French consul. The project positions wine as a living process whose hidden forms evoke cells, planets and cosmic events. Patrick’s work has also been represented in Geneva by Gutknecht Gallery.
Cosmology in Monaco
From 27 August to 10 September 2025, Desgraupes exhibited at Espace 22 in Monaco in Cosmology / Stripart. The presentation foregrounded light, space, time, quantum physics and the search for a poetic language of visual metaphor.
The “Big Bang of Wine”
Patrick’s wine imagery was featured by La Vanguardia under the idea of “The Big Bang of Wine.” The phrase captures the work precisely: a real transformation inside the vat becomes an image that appears planetary, explosive and universal.
A growing archive
Future entries will document Patrick’s estates, new photographic sessions, edition releases, exhibitions and behind-the-scenes observations in his own words. Collectors may request a current CV and project dossier from Studio 54 Fine Art.
